Prior to that, from 2012-2013, they studied at the University of St.Gallen and earned a Diploma in Sustainable Business, with a field of study in Economics. In 2007-2008, they completed a Diploma program in Strategic Project Management at Swisscom. Alexander Kersten holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Economics, which they obtained from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg during 1994-2000. Lastly, from 1985-1994, they attended Schönborn-Gymnasium, where they specialized in Physik/Chemie.
