Michael Heistein

Michael Heistein is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate governance, compliance, and mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as SVP & Corporate Compliance Officer at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts since May 2010, Michael advises executive leadership and the Board of Directors on global M&A transactions and corporate governance matters, while leading a legal team focused on various corporate and compliance issues. Previously, Michael held roles including Group Vice President of Legal and Vice President of Legal, where responsibilities encompassed managing commercial contracts and leading M&A initiatives, respectively. Michael also served as Senior Counsel at Wyndham Worldwide and as an Associate at Goodwin Procter LLP, where corporate transactions and private equity matters were key focuses. Michael holds a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan.
