Nicolás Dawson

Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions and hardware for educational technologies. At SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to the development of hardware and firmware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previous experience includes serving as an electronics contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris was responsible for design and repair of educational devices, and as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, focusing on control systems for the forestry industry. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
