Thomas Derig

Thomas Derig is a Location Data Specialist at Wyyerd Fiber since June 2023, previously serving as a Data Science Intern at the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) from July 2022 to June 2023, focusing on the Open Data Portal initiative. Prior experience includes internships at Netly Fiber as a Geographic Information Systems Intern, BootcampGIS, and involvement in various political campaigns, including Sara Jacobs for Congress and Gavin Newsom for Governor. Thomas holds a Master of Science in Data Science and a Bachelor of Science in Geography with an emphasis in Geographic Information Science from San Diego State University, as well as an Associate's degree in Geography from Santa Barbara City College.
