Alberto Camacho

Alberto Camacho has a diverse work experience. Alberto is currently working as an AI Research Scientist at X, the moonshot factory since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an AI Resident at Google from October 2019 to September 2021. Alberto also served as a Teacher Assistant at the University of Toronto from September 2014 to June 2019. Alberto was a Research Intern at Microsoft in July 2016. Alberto gained experience as a Research Assistant and Teacher Assistant at Universitat Pompeu Fabra from October 2012 to August 2014, and from September 2013 to July 2014, respectively. Before that, they worked as a Professor at ESTALMAT from September 2009 to 2014, teaching high school students with special senses in mathematics. Alberto also had the opportunity to work as a Trainee in Science Operations Division at the European Space Agency from June 2012 to September 2012, where they developed data visualization and analysis software. Alberto worked as a Consultant at Neometrics Analytics in February 2011, where they developed a tool for identifying ideal locations for new supermarkets. Additionally, Alberto served as a Senior Guide for the International Mathematical Olympiad, coordinating and supervising a group of guides in July 2008.

Alberto Camacho's education history is as follows:

From 2014 to 2022, Alberto pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Toronto. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2014, they worked towards a PhD degree in Artificial Intelligence at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

In 2012, Alberto completed a Master's degree in Intelligent Interactive Systems at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. The following year, from 2011 to 2012, they conducted a Master Thesis on Sensor Networks at École Polytechnique.

From 2005 to 2012, Alberto pursued a Degree (Master Level) at CFIS, specializing in Mathematics and Telecommunication Engineering. During the same period, they also obtained a Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.

Additionally, in 2010 and 2011, Alberto completed a Degree in Mathematics with a focus on Geometry at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Degree in Mathematics at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, respectively.

In terms of certifications, in September 2012, Alberto obtained a certification in Artificial Intelligence from edX.
