Andrew Ott

Andrew Ott has a diverse work experience in the energy sector. Andrew is currently serving as the Director of Technical Operations at X, the moonshot factory. Prior to this, they were a Corporate Board Member at Falck Renewables S.p.A. Andrew also held the position of Co-Chairman at the Energy Transition Forum, an international organization that facilitates discussions among executive energy leaders. Additionally, Andrew served as the President of ALO Consulting LLC. Before that, they had a long career at PJM Interconnection, where they retired as the President and CEO after 23 years. During their time at PJM, they also held the role of Executive Vice President in the Markets division. Andrew began their career as a Transmission Planning Engineer at GPU Service Corporation.

Andrew Ott has a strong educational background in engineering and statistics. Andrew earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University in 1988. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Penn State Altoona in 1983. Additionally, they hold an Associate's degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Penn State Altoona in 1982.

Andrew further pursued their education at Villanova University, where they completed a Master of Science degree in Applied Statistics in 1995.

In terms of certifications, Andrew obtained a Power Technology Course Certification from the Post-Graduate Power Systems Course at PTI, Inc. in an undisclosed year.
