Beatrice Wangui

Beatrice Wangui has experience working as a Network Engineer at X, the moonshot factory since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Network service engineer at Huawei Technologies from June 2018 to November 2022 where they were responsible for creating and maintaining network diagrams, analyzing and monitoring network security, and conducting network performance monitoring. Before that, they worked as a Network administrator at Netcore Technologies from June 2015 to December 2017 where they oversaw the operation of the entire network infrastructure and performed daily system monitoring. Beatrice also has experience as an ICT support Intern at the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) from January 2014 to May 2014, where they were involved in web design, content writing, and maintenance of ICT equipment.

In 2011 to 2015, they attended Moi University, where they pursued a Bsc. in Computer Science with a focus on Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology.

In 2018, Beatrice obtained their CCNA certification in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the African Advanced Level Telecommunications Institute (AFRALTI).

In addition to their formal education, Beatrice also obtained two additional certifications from Cisco. In August 2021, they earned the CCNA: Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation certification. In July 2021, they obtained the CCNA: Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials certification.
