Shijian J. currently works as a Hardware Engineer at X, the moonshot factory, where they are involved in designing and developing sustainable processes to minimize waste and promote a circular economy. Prior to this, Shijian J. worked as a Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Fellow at the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, collaborating with Dr. Roy Gordon and Dr. Michael Aziz. They also served as a PhD Resident at X, the moonshot factory, and as a Research Assistant at both Emory University and Nagoya University. Additionally, Shijian J. worked as an Assistant System Engineer at GE Healthcare.
Shijian J. pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Chemistry and History at Emory University from 2013 to 2017. They then went on to attend Harvard University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Material Sciences from 2017 to 2022.
