Joanne C. Freeze

Joanne Freeze, P.Geo., is an accomplished geologist and executive with extensive experience in the mining industry. Currently serving as a Consultant and Chief Executive Officer at Alta Copper Corporation since May 1997, Freeze also holds the position of President and CEO at Xali Gold since May 2010. Notably, Freeze co-founded Candente Resource Corp. while residing in Peru in 1997, and has held senior roles such as Senior Geologist and CEO at Candente Copper Corp. and Alta Copper. Earlier career highlights include positions as Evaluations Geologist at Placer Dome and Project Geologist at Hughes-Lang Group, alongside a foundational role at Utah Mines Ltd. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Geology from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Western University.
