Bálint Kiss

Bálint Kiss has a diverse and extensive work experience in software engineering and management.

From 2018 onwards, they served as the Director of Software Engineering at XALT Energy.

Prior to that, Bálint worked at Robert Bosch Battery Systems LLC., where they held the positions of Software Engineering Manager and Senior Software Development Team Lead from 2011 to 2017. In these roles, they led and managed a diverse team responsible for designing, testing, and validating battery management software and simulation models for electric and hybrid-electric vehicle applications. Bálint also managed support contracted to third-party software engineering firms.

Before joining Robert Bosch Battery Systems, Bálint worked at Bosch Engineering GmbH as a Technical Project Lead for PSA-CNG/PCM Non Road in 2010.

Lastly, they gained extensive experience as a Senior Software Developer Lead at Robert Bosch GmbH from 2004 to 2009.

Bálint Kiss has a Master's Degree in Microsystems Engineering from the University of Furtwangen, Germany, which they obtained from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Automation Subject, Vehicle Electronics from Kálmán Kandó College in Hungary, from 1996 to 2000.
