Danial Motlagh

Danial Motlagh is an accomplished professional in the field of quantum computing and software development, currently serving as the Lead Quantum Algorithms Scientist at Xanadu since May 2023. Danial's experience includes roles as a Quantum Algorithms Scientist and Quantum Algorithms Intern at Xanadu, and as a Quantum Computing Researcher under the supervision of Nathan Wiebe and Alan Aspuru-Guzik at the University of Toronto, where ongoing research is set to conclude in May 2024. Additional internships have been completed at Zapata Computing, Inc. as a Quantum Machine Learning Research Intern, at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer Intern, and at Cerence Inc. as a Software Engineer Intern. Danial is pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Toronto, expected to graduate in 2024. Teaching responsibilities include serving as a Teaching Assistant for CSC209-Software Tools and Systems Programming and CSC207-Software Design.
