Timothy Schoonover

Timothy Schoonover is a seasoned executive in the hospitality and retail industries, currently serving as an Executive Board Member for the National Park Hospitality Association since November 2023. As the Chief Operating Officer of Xanterra Travel Collection since September 2013, Timothy oversees general operations for a portfolio of National Park and Gateway properties across five states, managing over 4,300 rooms and various hospitality services. Previous roles include Executive Vice President of Licensing & Merchandising at CORE Media Group, Managing Director of Retail at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, Vice President of Retail Operations at Six Flags Great Adventure, and Director of Purchasing for Weitnauer America. Timothy began a career in retail management at ARAMARK. Timothy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Management from the State University of New York.
