Principal Scientist at Xap Therapeutics

Paul Grant has extensive work experience in the field of synthetic biology. Paul is currently employed as a Principal Scientist at Xap Therapeutics since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Microsoft from July 2016 to September 2021 as a Synthetic Biologist, where they focused on understanding and engineering biological self-organization. Paul also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Cambridge from March 2011 to June 2016, where they researched synthetic intercellular signaling systems in E. coli. Before that, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at Fred Hutch from September 2009 to September 2010.

Paul Grant completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Harvard University between 1996 and 2000. Following that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Washington from 2001 to 2009.
