Rucha Natu

Rucha Natu is a Senior Research Associate at Case Western Reserve University, currently working in the field of biomedical science and engineering with a focus on translational research and medical device innovation. With a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, Rucha has held positions as a Staff Fellow at the FDA, where performance characteristics of microfluidic medical devices were studied, and as a Senior Scientist at both XaTek and BioChip Labs. Previously, Rucha gained experience as a Product Engineer at Cummins Inc. and served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Clemson University, demonstrating leadership in laboratory settings. Rucha continues to leverage expertise in cardiovascular health and point of care diagnosis to design solutions that meet FDA and ISO standards.
