Ruth Rothmaler has had a diverse range of roles in their work experience. Ruth is currently the Chief Product & Design Officer at Xayn. Prior to this, they worked at Deel as a Product manager. At Zeitgold, they held the position of Director of Product & Design and Director of Product Design. Before that, Ruth worked at Delivery Hero Germany GmbH, where they held roles such as Head of User Research & Experimentation and Senior Product Manager. Ruth also worked at Delivery Hero as a Teamlead in Product Design and Customer Insights & UX Design. Additionally, they have experience as a Senior Product Manager at AllesAnna.de and GameDuell GmbH. Ruth also had freelancing experience in Strategic Brand & Communication Consulting at Töchter + Söhne. Ruth began their career in Brand Consulting at Musiol Munzinger Sasserath and Publicis Sasserath Brand Consultancy.

Ruth Rothmaler holds a Diplom-Kommunikationswirtin (Master of Communication in Social and Economic Contexts) degree from Universität der Künste Berlin, which they attained between 2001 and 2009. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at John F. Kennedy School Berlin from 1998 to 2001, earning a High School Diploma & Abitur with advanced courses in English and Mathematics, and basic courses in Physics and Political Science. Additionally, Ruth Rothmaler has obtained several certifications including a Professional Certificate in Visual Design from the UX Design Institute in 2021, a Certified Service Design Thinker from XDi - Experience Design Institut GmbH in 2018, a UX Foundation Training from UXTraining in 2018, and a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance in 2011.
