Mark Gallagher

Mark Gallagher is a Senior Scientist with extensive experience in R&D analytics and biologics product development, currently contributing to Xbrane Biopharma AB since January 2023. Previously, Mark served as a Senior Scientist at Arecor Therapeutics plc, focusing on the reformulation of biopharmaceuticals and designing studies for insulin product development. At Lonza, Mark's expertise in protein characterization supported clinical trial regulations and submissions. Mark's research journey began with a Marie Curie postdoctoral fellowship in extracellular vesicles, followed by a PhD focused on proteomic profiling and antibody drug targets. Mark's early career included quality control roles in dairy science laboratories, emphasizing microbiology and regulatory compliance. Mark holds a PhD in Cell Biology from Dublin and a degree in Bio-Analysis and Biotechnology from Limerick Institute of Technology.
