James Maddiona

James Maddiona joined Xceedance in June 2021 as the global head of claims and manages the company’s Third-Party Administrator subsidiary, Xceedance Claims and Management Services, LLC. He is responsible for delivering technical and administrative oversight over the claims and quality assurance teams, servicing multiple lines of business globally for the clients.

Prior to joining Xceedance, James spent 25 years at AIG, where he managed claim professionals specializing in mitigating high-severity bodily injury and property damage exposures in the excess and surplus casualty lines space. James is particularly skilled at hiring/retaining talent and building diverse teams to services client’s needs. His belief is that the team is built as a true extension of the client, aligned with the culture and skillsets desired to excel at any job function.

James received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from St. John’s University. He is adjuster licensed in 34 states.
