Monalisa Samal

Monalisa Samal leads global data & risk analytics services at Xceedance. She brings 17 years of corporate experience in analytics, consulting, and leadership with expertise in risk management, portfolio strategies, consulting, and analytics and strives to be a partner to drive client success.

Prior to joining Xceedance, Monalisa worked at RMS in various capacities, including delivery manager, product consultant, and new solutions and innovations leader, serving clients in Asia, Europe, and North America. Her other corporate experiences include working as a fraud risk manager, group leader, and cat modeling specialist for insurance and financial sector companies. In those roles, she was instrumental in setting up new capabilities handling portfolio, pricing, and analytics.

Monalisa earned a master’s degree in Finance and Control and an undergraduate degree in Business Analytics and Intelligence from IIMB. She is a certified Catastrophe Risk Consultant and a fellow of the Insurance Institute of India.
