Paul Summers

Paul Summers has extensive experience in logistics and transportation management, currently serving as Fleet Manager for Construction Materials at Xcel Bulk Logistics since May 2021. Prior roles include positions in logistics at Sterling Transport, dispatcher responsibilities at Superior Carriers, and traffic supervision at Trimac Transportation. A solid foundation in transportation management was established at Quikrete, while earlier experience includes DOT compliance oversight at American Freight and driver supervision at Mail Contractors of America. Paul Summers began a career at UPS, holding the role of Preload Supervisor from January 1990 to March 2003. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Applied Science degree in Law Enforcement from Guilford Technical Community College and additional studies at Guilford College.
