Senior Engineer - Regional Transmission Planning at Xcel Energy

Bryan Ramler is a Senior Engineer in Regional Transmission Planning at Xcel Energy since May 2013, utilizing Production Cost Modeling (PCM) software for long-term economic transmission planning across three operating companies. Responsibilities include analyzing transmission congestion relief, Locational Marginal Price (LMP), and generation unit characteristics. Prior to this role, Bryan served as an Engineering Intern in Transmission Planning, conducting contingency analysis and assisting with model topology for industry compliance. Bryan's military experience includes serving as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, overseeing maintenance of communication equipment. Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of St. Thomas and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Electronics Technology from Dunwoody College of Technology.
