Candace Morse

Candace Morse has extensive experience in compliance and cybersecurity, primarily in the energy sector. Currently serving as Compliance Manager at Xcel Energy since March 2015, Candace has held various roles including Lead Analyst for Security Governance & Controls and Lead CIP Cyber Security Consultant, focusing on NERC CIP v5 implementation. Prior to this, Candace worked as a NERC CIP Consultant at BRIDGE Energy Group and in multiple positions at Xcel Energy from 2010 to 2014 as an IT CIP Cyber Security Compliance Analyst. Candace's earlier experience includes roles as IT Security Consultant and Process Manager at Target Corporation, IT Security Project Manager at US Bank, and IT Project Manager at Carlson Companies. Candace holds an Associate of Arts degree in Administrative from the University of North Dakota and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Metro State University.
