Leslie Martel Baer

Leslie Martel Baer is an experienced manager and product developer with a focus on clean energy and advanced grid technologies at Xcel Energy since January 2019. Leslie has a robust background in strategic energy management from experience at Energy Intersections, LLC, where initiatives aimed at sustainable energy deployment were developed. Prior roles at Mountain Muse Communications involved consulting for sustainability sectors, while earlier positions at the University of Michigan and University of Colorado included project management and research, notably in the Human Genome Project. Leslie holds an MS in Global Energy Management from the University of Colorado Denver, an MA in English Language & Literature from the University of Michigan, and a BA in Biochemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
