Matt Laible

Matt Laible is an experienced communications professional with a background in public relations and organizational communications. Currently serving as Director of Jurisdictional Communications at Xcel Energy since May 2017, Matt previously held the position of Director of Public Relations & Communications at Meet Minneapolis from June 2015 to May 2017, where responsibilities included managing the organization's communications plan and overseeing public relations and social media efforts. Prior to that role, Matt served as Interim Communications Director for the City of Minneapolis from August 2005 to May 2015, setting strategy and managing a team focused on various aspects of communications, including media relations. Matt started the professional journey with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Minnesota.
