Raj Patel

Raj Patel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Raj started their career as an Intern at Deloitte India, where they provided support in corporate financial advisory, specifically in valuations and mergers and acquisitions. Raj then moved on to work at HiFX New Zealand as an FX Dealing Assistant, where they performed customer service duties, provided administrative support to FX Dealers and Traders, and conducted competitor research on FX pricing. Following this, they joined Xe.com as an FX Dealer - APAC, managing and building relationships with customers and affiliates, tailoring FX hedging strategies, generating revenue through dealing and trading of various FX products, and driving an initiative to automate trade booking for clients. Raj is currently working at Xe.com as a Corporate FX Dealer, where they manage a portfolio of corporate clients, visits clients to understand their needs and build stronger relationships, and executes various FX trades accurately. Throughout their career, Raj has demonstrated skills in relationship management, financial analysis, and project management.

Raj Patel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Auckland University of Technology, where they studied from 2015 to 2018. Raj also holds additional certifications, including a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, obtained in January 2023. Raj has also completed certifications in Financial Markets from the Financial Markets Authority - New Zealand and Foreign Exchange Dealing from ASIC, but the dates of completion are not provided.
