Simon Christensen

Simon Christensen currently serves as Associate Manager for Manufacturing Science & Technology at Xellia Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end project execution and technology transfer in both API and FDF areas while supporting global and local teams. Previous roles include Team Leader and Purification Specialist in the Vancomycin Purification Department, as well as academic projects linked to membrane filtration at Aquaporin A/S and 3D printing optimization at the Technical University of Denmark. Simon has an extensive educational background in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Leadership, complemented by certifications in LEAN methodologies and EU-GMP guidelines.
