Shawn M. Gage

Shawn M. Gage, PA-C, currently serves as the VP of US Clinical Affairs at Xeltis since July 2024. Previously, Shawn held the position of Director of Clinical Operations at InnAVasc Medical, Inc. from January 2019 to July 2024, where responsibilities included managing medical affairs and leading clinical trials for a vascular graft designed to prevent needle-related injuries. As the inventor of the InnAVasc Vascular Access Graft and founder of InnAVasc Medical, Shawn played a pivotal role in the company's technology development. Additionally, Shawn operated as an Independent Consultant in clinical development from May 2018 to July 2024 and worked as a Clinical Liaison at Humacyte from February 2016 to May 2018, contributing to advancements in human vascular tissue engineering. Shawn's early career includes serving as Senior PA in Vascular Surgery at Duke University Medical Center from 2004 to 2016, where duties involved patient care and participation in clinical research. Shawn holds a certificate from the General Surgery Residency Program at Duke University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Physician Associate, Health Sciences from Butler University.
