Jolene Shorr

Jolene Shorr is an accomplished professional in clinical development, currently serving as Executive Director of Clinical Development at Xencor since April 2020, after holding the position of Senior Director, Clinical Science. Previous experience includes roles as Clinical Science Senior Director at Greenwich Biosciences and Senior Director of Clinical Science at Tocagen Inc. and aTyr Pharma. Jolene also worked as a Clinical Development Consultant in San Diego and held several leadership positions at TargeGen, Inc., including Vice President of Clinical Development. Earlier in her career, Jolene served as Director of Data Services and Medical Writing at ProSanos Corporation and Associate Director of Clinical Development at Elan Pharmaceuticals. Jolene’s foundation in clinical research spans over two decades, with degrees from San Diego State University in Epidemiology and Experimental Psychology, as well as a BA in Psychology.
