Dr. Muhammad Mansoor is currently a Principal Scientist at Xendee, where they lead research and development in microgrid control algorithms. Previously, they served as an Assistant Project Scientist at UC San Diego, focusing on Model Predictive Control for multi-energy systems. Dr. Mansoor also has experience as a Junior Researcher in Austria, specializing in smart and microgrid modeling. They hold a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in energy economics from the Vienna University of Technology and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Smart Grids from Politecnico di Milano. Recognized as an expert in microgrid modeling and control, Dr. Mansoor has contributed to various projects funded by federal agencies in both Europe and the USA.
