In 2001, they were promoted to Medewerker Vluchtvoorbereiding, Ground Services & Operations Control where they managed the content of the various aspects of passenger policy on the Transavia intranet and website.

In 2004, Ylja left Transavia to join Bracamonte as a Directiesecretaresse. In this role, they provided administrative support to the Commercial Director and Head of Sales for West Europe. Ylja was responsible for booking international travel, organizing events, and all other secretarial duties.

In 2012, Ylja joined Fermacell GmbH as a Directiesecretaresse. In this role, they provided administrative support to the Commercial Director and Head of Sales for West Europe. Ylja was responsible for booking international travel, organizing events, and all other secretarial duties. Ylja left Fermacell in 2015 to join Xenikos as Office Manager.

Ylja Oldenkamp has an educational background in office management and European secretarial studies from Schoevers College.
