Jacopo Alaimo

Jacopo Alaimo has a diverse work experience. Jacopo is currently the Head of North America for XenomatiX North America, a company specializing in true solid-state lidar. Prior to this role, they worked at North American Lighting, Inc. as part of the product development team.

Jacopo also has extensive experience in the automotive industry. Jacopo held multiple roles at Automotive Lighting, including Engineering Manager for Validation, Simulation, and Test, Lean Product Development Manager, and Engineer Manager for Thermal and Structural Engineering. In these positions, they managed departments, led projects, and conducted various activities such as specification analysis, simulation, testing, and optimization of automotive lighting systems.

Outside of the automotive industry, Jacopo worked as a Mountain Guide for Mountain-Passion. This experience showcases their passion for adventure and outdoor activities.

Jacopo Alaimo completed their education history in a chronological order. Jacopo started their academic journey in 1996 at Liceo Scientifico, where they pursued general studies without receiving a specific degree. Afterwards, from 2000 to 2004, Jacopo attended Politecnico di Torino and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering. Continuing their education at Politecnico di Torino, they went on to earn a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in the same field of study from 2004 to 2007. Furthermore, in 2014, Jacopo obtained a certification in Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Green Belt from ASI Consulting Group, LLC.
