Norman Rother has held various engineering and management positions throughout their career. Norman is currently the Director of Engineering at XENON Automatisierungstechnik GmbH since May 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Unity Semiconductor GmbH as the Director of Engineering and Director of SW-Engineering on a global level from December 2018 to March 2019. From October 2012 to November 2018, they served as the Head of SW-Development and STB product development at Technisat Dresden GmbH, where they focused on software platforms for DVB-based product lines and new technologies such as IoT/SmartHome. Norman Rother started their career at Technisat Digital GmbH in November 1997 and held the position of Head of DVB R&D until September 2012.
Norman Rother obtained their Diplom in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Dresden, where they studied from 1992 to 1997. In addition, they completed a Master's program in Electrical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1995 to 1996.
