Amjad Iqbal

Amjad Iqbal is a seasoned regulatory affairs professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Global Regulatory Affairs and Medical Writing at Xenon Pharmaceuticals Inc., a position held since July 2023, Amjad has previously held significant roles including Vice President of Global Regulatory Affairs and Medical Writing at Myovant Sciences, and Executive Director of Global Regulatory Affairs at AbbVie. Amjad's career began at Forest Laboratories, where progression through various positions in Regulatory Affairs occurred from 2007 to 2015. Amjad holds a Pharm.D. from the University of Cincinnati and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Regulatory Affairs from St. John's University.
