Michael Clark

Michael Clark is an accomplished professional in the field of chemistry, currently serving as Vice President of Chemistry at Xenon Pharmaceuticals Inc., where tenure began in September 2020. Prior to this, Michael held several key positions at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, including Director of Chemistry and Associate Director of Chemistry, from June 2008 to September 2020. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Chemistry at Metastatix, Inc. from 2006 to 2008 and as Sr Scientist at P&G Pharmaceuticals from 2000 to 2006. Michael obtained a doctorate in organic chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington, where education was completed from 1995 to 2000.
