Vivek Goyal

Vivek Goyal has worked in various roles within the medical field since 2017. Vivek began their career as a Clinical Intern at North End Waterfront Health, followed by a Clinical Intern role at Roslindale Health. In 2018, they worked as a Clinical Intern at DotHouse Health, Northport VA Hospital, and DIMOCK COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER, INC. Additionally, they held a Clinical Intern role at the New England College of Optometry (NECO) Center for Eye Care, where they rotated between different specialty optometry-based sites/clinics to work with varied doctors/populations. Vivek also gained experience in low vision devices, and Goldmann Visual Field, as well as fitting/evaluating/following up for specialty contact lenses including scleral, ortho-k, RGP, SCL, Piggy-Back lenses. In 2018, they were also an Assistant Medical Officer at Xenon VR. In 2019, they were an Optometry Resident at the Connecticut VA Healthcare System and an Optometrist at Meriden Eye Care and The Eye Glass Place.

Vivek Goyal earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from Stony Brook University between 2011 and 2015. Vivek then attended New England College of Optometry, graduating with a Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree in 2019. Prior to that, they attended Herricks High School between 2007 and 2011.
