Cornelia Lass

Cornelia Lass is the current Vice President of People at Xentral. Prior to this, they were the Global Head of HR People Experience at Avaloq from April 2017 to December 2021. In their role at Avaloq, Cornelia was responsible for designing employee experience. Cornelia applied design thinking to understand the needs of employees and identify moments that mattered to them in their work lives. Cornelia also managed the teams of Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Learning & Development.

Cornelia has always been interested in human resources and making sure that employees have a positive experience at work. Cornelia believes that by putting the human in the center of every decision, process, or product, companies can create a more satisfying experience for their employees. Cornelia is passionate about their work and is always looking for ways to improve the employee experience.

Cornelia Lass studied human resources at Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck, where they obtained their master's degree in business administration. Cornelia then worked as a physiotherapist at Universitätsklinik des Saarlandes before obtaining certifications in design thinking from the DesignThinkers Academy and IBM. Cornelia is also certified in holacracy from dwarfs and Giants and in business coaching from dehner academy GmbH.

They work with Claudia Sauter - Co-Founder, Stefanie Richheimer - VP, Sales, and Holger Ackermann - VP, Finance & Business Development. Their manager is Benedikt Sauter, CEO & Co-Founder.
