Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently working at SMART Technologies since July 2010, contributing to the development of collaborative solutions, specifically for DViT interactive whiteboards and related educational devices. Previously, Chris served as a Firmware Engineer at SMART Technologies, where firmware and diagnostic tools were developed. Prior experience includes working as an Electronics Contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris focused on designing and repairing educational devices, and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting lab sessions and grading. Additionally, Chris worked as an Electronics Engineer at Grindcom from March 2005 to August 2007, developing control systems for forestry equipment. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
