Patricia Martins

Patricia Martins, MPharm, PhD, is a scientist specializing in formulation development with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Scientist II at Xeris Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Patricia contributes to the development of parenteral drug products for high concentration monoclonal antibodies and collaborates on cross-functional teams for product development activities. Previously, Patricia held the position of Senior Scientist at Via Therapeutics, where significant achievements included leading the development of topical drug products for squamous cell carcinoma and contributing to various drug formulation projects. Patricia's research background includes a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin, where work focused on topical and transdermal drug delivery systems. Additional experience includes formulation internships and roles in community and hospital pharmacies, along with teaching and mentoring efforts in pharmaceutical education.
