We are hiring a Senior Product Manager for our Payments team.

As a Senior Product Manager you will be responsible for excellence in driving customer and business value through ownership of new and existing products. You will be comfortable working in complex product spaces that require navigating larger degrees of ambiguity and comprehensive stakeholder management. You will manage products end-to-end, from early-stage research and ideation, through to implementation and improvement over time. Your impact will be measured by key commercial and customer success metrics. 

You will have the opportunity to

  • Provide leadership to the teams in your portfolio, both inside and outside your direct reporting line, carry Xero culture by role-modelling our values and behaviours
  • Establish a clear & ambitious product vision for your portfolio that you consistently communicate across your team, wider product and the wider stakeholder landscape
  • Drive your team to execute on your strategy by maintaining a rolling 12 month roadmap, derived from real data & market insight, inclusive ideation processes and robust product discovery methodologies
  • Negotiate quarterly OKRs with your team to ensure focus on the immediate value to be delivered
  • Oversee the ongoing lifecycle management of your product in market, partnering with Global Product Marketing, GTM teams, Customer Analytics and Finance to ensure that the commercial success of your portfolio is being actively managed

You will have

  • A strong background in people leadership with a solid track record of getting the best from people
  • Strong experience as a product manager taking a holistic view of your product (customer, commercial, competitor, delivery and macro trends)
  • Stakeholder management and coordination across complex businesses
  • The ability to build effective relationships and influence across all levels of the business leveraging excellent stakeholder management, open communication style and interpersonal skills
  • A master storyteller who can connect people with a vision
  • A love for building quality products that customers love and a deep understanding of design thinking and performance analytics
  • The ability to work closely with technical and non-technical teams in parallel
  • Solid understanding of SaaS business models
