Xerolutions is a technology-based company established in 2011. It is a spin-off of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), which is the third largest in Europe and the largest public institution dedicated to research in Spain.Xerolutions technology is the result of more than 10 years of research under the scientific guidance of Dra. AnaArenillas and Dr. J. Ángel Menéndez (founders of the company) specialized in porous materials and microwaves systems. Xerolutions has received SODECO award being one of the most prestigious in Asturias where it is recognized its innovative nature and its multiple applications.Xerolutions has also received an INNPACTO from Ministry of Science and Innovation (MICINN).TECHNOLOGYThe Xerolutions TechnologyTM is based on an innovative synthesis method of porous materials within the use of microwaves, which has very remarkable improvements versus the current synthesis methods.
