Darek Purcell

Darek Purcell has a diverse work experience spanning from 2015 to present. Darek began their career at Verisk as a Technical Writer for Xactware Solutions, Inc. from May 2015 to June 2018. Following this, they worked as an Attorney at Purcell Law from January 2017 to December 2019. Subsequently, they joined InMoment as a Privacy Compliance Specialist from June 2018 to December 2020, where they reviewed contracts and ensured compliance with privacy and data security laws. From January 2021 to December 2022, Darek served as a Corporate Counsel at Route. Currently, they are working as an Associate General Counsel at Xevant starting from February 2023.

Darek Purcell completed their education in the following chronological order. Darek obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Literature from Utah Valley University from 2009 to 2012. Subsequently, they attended BYU Law School from 2012 to 2015, where they earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Darek also obtained two additional certifications. In June 2020, they became a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPPUS) through the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals. Prior to that, in October 2016, they became an Attorney after being admitted to the Utah State Bar.
