Aravindanayagi Vinjamoor Gopalan has over 30 years of professional experience in the field of taxation and finance. In 2022, they joined Xforia Technology Solutions and Services as the Chief Financial Officer. From 2019 to 2022, they were the Member of the Board of Directors at India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO). From 2017 to 2019, they were the Co Author of "Landmark Cases on Direct Tax" and "Compendium of International Taxation" at The Company Law Institute of India P Ltd. From 2012 to 2017, they were the Senior Director Finance at Cognizant, where their key responsibilities included taxation management and efficient tax compliances for all the Cognizant entities across India, APAC & Middle East regions. From 1988 to 2012, they were the Head Business tax at Deloitte Chennai, where their key responsibilities included maintaining key client relationships across different industry segments and client service, leading operational efficiency and excellence across business tax function, and maintaining the P&L responsibility for major client accounts.

Aravindanayagi Vinjamoor Gopalan has an extensive educational background. From 1984 to 1987, they obtained a Fellow Member of Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, specializing in Accounts, Finance, Taxation, Maths, Statistics, and Economics. From 2007 to 2010, they obtained a Graduation in Law from Sri Venkateswara University, specializing in Legal Studies and General. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from University of Madras, specializing in Mathematics and Statistics. They also have a Certificate for Computer applications from NIIT Limited.
