Abdullah Shah began their work experience in 2011 as a Network Software Engineer intern at xFlow Research Inc. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at PLUMgrid, which was later acquired by VMware, where they held the position of MTS. In this role, they were responsible for designing and developing distributed software for networking solutions and applications, focusing on scale and high availability. Their responsibilities included designing and implementing automated infrastructures, test-driven design for fault tolerance and failure recovery mechanisms, simulating failure scenarios, and leading the development of a generic, scalable automated infrastructure.

In 2016, Abdullah joined VMware (NSBU R&D) as a Member of Technical Staff III, where they worked until 2018. Then, they joined Salesforce in 2018 as a Senior Software Engineer and later became the Lead Software Engineer in 2020. Currently, Abdullah Shah serves as the CEO of Xgrid.co, starting from April 2022.

Abdullah Shah attended the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
