Alexey Dral

Alexey Dral is the Founder and CEO of BigData Team, established in April 2018, which specializes in course development and consulting in Big Data and Machine Learning. In addition to leading BigData Team, Alexey serves as a Visiting Lecturer at several prestigious institutions, including Xiamen University, HARBOUR.SPACE, Higher School of Economics, Moscow State University, and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, focusing on Big Data courses. As a Big Data Instructor on Coursera, Alexey oversees the Big Data for Data Engineers specialization. Prior roles include Deputy Director of Research and Innovations at MIPT-School of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, Head of Data Science School at Sberbank Corporate University, and Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services. Alexey holds a Master of Science in computer science from SHAD (Yandex School of Data Analysis) and a specialist degree in mathematics from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
