Gerta Axhiu

Gerta Axhiu is a seasoned network engineer with extensive experience in the field. Since January 2017, Gerta has served as a Senior Network Engineer at Xiber LLC, where responsibilities include designing and provisioning data centers in the United States and managing the configuration and troubleshooting of various ipv4/ipv6 routing protocols, such as BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, and EIGRP. Prior to this role, from April 2007 to June 2017, Gerta worked as a Core Network Engineer at ABCom Ltd, focusing on optimizing the backbone network for enhanced stability and service performance, as well as configuring BGP for international links and supporting various VPN solutions for banking clients. Gerta holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Universiteti Politeknik i Tiranës, earned between 2001 and 2006.
