Timothy Swager is a distinguished chemist and entrepreneur with extensive experience in founding and leading innovative companies. Currently serving as the Founder of Fluorityx, Timothy specializes in PFAS detection systems. As a Co-Founder of multiple companies including Xibus Systems, C2Sense, Inc., PolyJoule, Inc., and DyNuPol (which was sold in 2022), Timothy has established a significant presence in the industry. At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Timothy holds the title of John D. MacArthur Professor of Chemistry and serves as Director of the Deshpande Center for Technological Innovation, in addition to being involved in various leadership roles within the chemistry department and the Institute for Soldier Nanotechnologies. Timothy also contributed as an Associate Editor for the American Chemical Society's Macromolecules journal from 2010 to 2019, and previously founded Iptyx.
