Mark Hoober

Mark Hoober has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Mark started their career as a Structural Engineer at Burns & McDonnell, specializing in structural analysis and design. Mark then transitioned to the role of Information Technology Director at Youth With A Mission, where they were responsible for database and network administration. Following that, they served as the Director of Marketing & Financial Development at Reign Ministries, overseeing CRM application development and web design. Mark then ventured into consulting as the Owner of Liberty Consulting, Ltd., working with non-profit boards on policy governance and strategic planning. Currently, they are working at Xigent, where they have held various roles including Sr. Systems Engineer, IT Operations Manager, and currently serves as the Director of Service Delivery. In their current role, they maintain client relationships, provides recommendations for server, storage, and network improvements, and acts as a liaison between clients, the sales team, and teammates. Overall, Mark brings a mix of engineering, IT, marketing, and consulting expertise to their work experience.

Mark Hoober obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University from 1985 to 1989. Prior to that, they attended Marshalltown High School from 1982 to 1985. Mark Hoober also holds several additional certifications, including Installation Professional from Cohesity in 2021, NCDA--Clustered Ontap and NCIE-SAN--Clustered Ontap from NetApp in 2015, 2015 Flying Eagle Award from Xigent Solutions, 2014 Flying Eagle Award from Xigent Solutions, NetApp Seals #35 from NetApp in 2013, and VCP5-DCV from VMware in 2013. Mark also holds a NetApp Certified Data Administrator, Data ONTAP 7-Mode certification.
