Timothy Miller is a Senior Staff Engineer at xilis, with over four years of experience in process development and optimization for efficient product production. Timothy has worked on fill/finish processes for traditional vials, large-format pre-filled syringes, and novel flexible polymeric container closure systems. Timothy also has experience with combination device development, technology transfer, and cross-continent cold-chain bulk product transfers.

Prior to joining xilis, Timothy was an ICFOnest+ Post-Doctoral Fellow at ICFO - The Institute of Photonic Sciences, where they worked on developing new methods for optical fiber fabrication. Timothy was also a Graduate Fellow at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, where they worked on developing new methods for high-energy physics detectors.

Timothy began their career as an Engineering Intern at Bose Corporation, where they worked on the development of new audio products.

Timothy Miller has a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University, as well as a PhD in the same field from the same school. Timothy also has a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering with a double major in Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. In addition, they have various certifications in 3D printing applications, software, and the 3D printing revolution from Coursera, as well as an Intro to Python for Data Science certification from DataCamp.
