James McKenzie

James McKenzie has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. James worked as a Sports Photographer for MaxPreps starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were a Customer Success Manager at Xinaps from 2022. From 2009 to the present, James served as an Independent Consultant for AEC Verge, specializing in project management support, digital strategy, and AEC professional learning services. In 2014, they worked as a Council Member for GLG. James also worked as a Senior Project Manager at AECOM from 2020 to 2021 and as a Senior Project Manager (consultant) at Stanford University from 2019 to 2020. In 2017, they took on the role of Executive Director for Digital Strategy and Customer Success Management at Luster Digital Solutions. James also has experience as a Board Member for ALICE Technologies Inc. from 2015 to 2017 and as a Lecturer at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2015 to 2016. James was the Director of the Center for Excellence at Swinerton from 2012 to 2013.

James McKenzie has a Master of Science degree in Executive Architecture from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, which they completed in 2001. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from California State University, Chico. Additionally, they have completed a Certificate Program in Facilities Planning and Management, Real Estate Development, and Business Administration from UC Berkeley Extension. Furthermore, they attended St. Ignatius College Preparatory for their secondary education. In 2018, James completed an Online Professional Learning program in Data driven marketing from Stanford University and obtained a Certificate in Digital Marketing from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
