Tom Sisto

Thomas Sisto is the CEO and Co-Founder of XL Batteries since February 2019. Concurrently, Thomas serves as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Columbia University in the City of New York, a position held since August 2015. Previous experience includes a role as a Graduate Student at the University of Oregon from June 2010 to May 2015, where Thomas earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. Additionally, Thomas was a Chemistry teacher at Fryeburg Academy during the academic year 2009-2010, where an Organic Chemistry class was initiated for Seniors. Thomas's educational background includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Organic Chemistry and Device Fabrication at Columbia University (2016-2019), a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Oregon (2014-2015), a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry from Boston University (2010-2014), and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Colby College (2005-2009).
