Ankur Chokshi

Ankur Chokshi has diverse work experience in the insurance industry, with a strong focus on casualty and underwriting. Ankur began their career at Chubb as an Underwriter and worked there from 2001 to 2008. Ankur then joined CoverX Corporation as a Senior Underwriter, where they focused on the development of the mid-west region. In 2013, they moved to XL Catlin and took on various roles, including Assistant Vice President, Central Region Team Lead, and Regional Vice President. During their time at XL Catlin, they focused on portfolio development, risk management, and improving operational efficiency. In 2018, Ankur joined AXA XL, where they held positions as the Head of Wholesale Primary Casualty and the Head of E&S Primary Casualty, Brokerage and Binding. In their current role at AXA XL, they serve as the Global Transformational Journey Owner. Ankur has demonstrated a flexible approach to business, utilizing data analytics and underwriting acumen to drive profitable growth and adapt to changing market trends. Ankur also has a strong focus on talent development and mentorship.

Ankur Chokshi attended the University of Hertfordshire from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained a Bsc Hons degree in Chemistry. Ankur also has a certification in "How to Be an Effective Project Sponsor" from LinkedIn, obtained in 2023.
